Pet House is a fast-paced retail pet store. We expect no less then the absolute best service and care for our customers and livestock. To give the best service, you must know, or be able to learn, about science based subjects such as animal care, nutrition, life cycles, and animal behavior. All of these subjects differ from animal to animal, so there is a lot to learn in order to provide the best possible service.

Pet House is also a company that does a large volume of business. This is not a place for those who are not interested in working quickly and with enthusiasm. Efficiency in our ordering, receiving, and stocking is a must.

We are seeking employees with an impeccable work ethic. Employees are expected to show up on time and ready to work at each scheduled shift. Pet House requires a higher level of cleanliness then many other pet stores you may have been to. Our definition of working with animals is thoroughly cleaning and caring for them. We expect our employees to be reliable team players. Excellent customer service and animal care are the first priorities here, so we expect our staff to be cheerful and always maintain a helpful attitude, as well as be kind and attentive with our livestock.

Personal appearance is extremely important here at Pet House. We are looking for clean cut, well groomed, and neat looking people.

The shifts are Monday-Saturday 10:30am-7:30pm and Sunday 10am to 6:30pm. Everyone is required to work at least one weekend day, if not both. This is not negotiable. Positions and wages are determined by an individuals performance and reliability.

Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
